When I open an image with pixels colored ###,###,###,000 , they show up in a darker-transparent tone of the base color, but as soon as I select them they become 0,0,0,0 and display as fully transparen...tranparent areas in images copied to clipboard become black

Need to modify color count
Hey, how do I change the color count of an image in RWPaint? For example, I need to convert an image to 256 colors. I can't find this option anywhere.Smilies that make you smile!
