The downloaded version is better, and it's still free. You can also make animated cursors (.ani) with that one. And the best part is it also has a portable version so you don't have to install anythin...
It's most likely the .ico file format. Actually, that's the only thing that works for this. And by the way this is awesome I enjoy using this π.
