Military Rank Insignia Upgrade Icons

This set is nicer than the previous one, but you should try to add shade effects, but good set!

These are almost exactly the same as in my Battlefield 2 game

Battlefield 2, as many war games, uses the basic US Armed Forces ranking system, which seems well-recognized enough to make this set of interest worldwide. Thanks for your interest.

Your comments are noted and rankings adjusted. The set was originally based on WWII insignia, in which there was no single chevron with a rocker. The lowest rank of "buck private" had no chevron at all, and PFC was the single chevron. Now, the lowest 2 ranks appear after 5 star general, but the icons are listed by date of modification.

These look just great! Some of the sergeant insignia look disproportionately short for their width. Almost like they are smashed down a little. But really they are all quite good. Good job Doc.

Thanks, Daniel W. I know the sergeants look kind of squashed, but that's because I wanted the final image to be as close to square as possible, since a square is the ideal icon shape. Actually, some countries use the same format with the wider look, so they are really found in some places.

you need to change your pfc to pvt..pfc is private first class and thats the rank. there is 1 chevron and one rocker for pfc. they look good though
