The new, improved version of the Metal Series Icons. These icons have the symbols, rather than just the letters for the Office icons.

You may alter them in any way for yourself, but I do ask that you not re-upload them as your own.

Please, download, rate, and comment!

I am a very big fan of shadow.

Definitely a lot better with the symbols than with the letter. 😊

5 out of 5 stars.

I really like the Steel-Word icon. 5/5

Out of curiosity Eric, is 4.5 as high as you go?

user iconErik on January 20th 2011 0

No, but you will only get 5 stars if you make holy looking icons like Sirea

JDDelGuy.. If you add shadow to the outer rings, you'll get 5/5.

user iconJDDellGuy on February 6th 2011 0

I cannot add a shadow to the rings. They extend to the edges of the canvas. If I add shadows, then they will be off-canvas on the vertical and horizontal edges. The shadows would only exist in the "corners" of the rings.

But I am happy with 4.5. 😊

I am not a fan of shadows. I create my icons many times for my own use. I am a big user of docks. Often, docks will automatically create a shadow or reflection of the icon for me. There may be times when I do not want a shadow. It is easier to find a tool to create a shadow automatically than it is to find a tool to remove a shadow. 😉

You are a good reviewer. Thank you!

JD, you're right, they can't have a shadow, but you can bevel the outer rings to make it look like it has a shadow.
