I do not know what happened either. What directions?

I fallowed directions and the curser shows like it should change but I still have the boring arrow? Dunno what happened?

same thing happened to me but when i cliked on the item i wanted and it said open or save ive tryed both and i dont no what to do next because nothin happens after that please help me
