How to write JavaScript operations for RW paint?

Hey guys! love the software and have been using it for 10+ years. However, I have never used the custom operation option where you can enter JavaScript. I have a fair bit of coding experience including C++ Python and a tiny bit of Java but not JavaScript per se. So I was wondering,

TLDR: Are there any code examples or documentation for how to use the "custom operation" JavaScript input?
