Cursors in Blender

Hello! I'm new to Blender, and I've been wanting to make cursors in it, but I'm not sure how to, or where to learn how. If someone could link a tutorial or explain, that would help a lot. Thanks!

You can just insert a plane mesh subdivide a few times, and shape it into a cursor on edit mode. also add textures for more detail.
