Tracking Downloads of Icons

Would it be possible to attach a 'number of downloads' figure to each icon available on this webpage? this would allow creators to judge popularity, and also allow people looking for good icons to gauge roughly which are good. I think this would be a useful edition to the site... any chance of it happening?

Yes, it may happen in the near future. The number of downloads is already available in the database for icons and cursors, but it is not visible. Sorting by number of downloads and by rating will be possible in a month or two.
