Icons are tiny

I went through the example of how to create an icon from a picture. I created the icon as 256x256. But the icon is so small I can barely see it. Other icons on my box are big and easy to see. How do I create an icon so that it's larger like the other ones on my box?

If you mean the icon you see in the file manager or the default image viewer in Windows, then simply disregard it. The icon contains multiple images and it just shows you the last of them. It will work fine if you use it.
