rotating not working

Hello,

I just downloaded v6, and am running the following command to resize, rotate, and save into a new folder. It is saving the re sized photo into a new folder fine but for some reason the rotate is not working??

here is the command I am running. What am I doing wrong?

c:\temp>photoresize400.exe -v "-cC:\events\tempcurrent\<PATH><NAME>.jpg" "C:\events\polldir\2011_Barre_Blades_100"

Are you sure your photos have the orientation tag properly set in the EXIF block?

I am not sure. I see the photos are currently displayed sideways in windows explorer. I want them rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise.

The -v switch only works if your camera has the orientation sensor and the information about orientation is saved in the EXIF info. IF not, you need to rotate the images manually in Windows Explorer or another application.

Orientation = top/left

this indicated the photo is already rotated correctly.

If you had a different value in that tag, the tool will perform the rotation.
