Sadly, not much can be done. It is an old error in Chrome that is still not solved (it affects also other web sites).

Typically, you will see the image being loaded and when it is about to be displayed, it is replaced by that "broken image" placeholder. When you display just the image, it will show correctly, but not when it is in the page.
If you can, use Firefox or Opera.
