Can you create .Gif images in RW Paint?

i just want to create a .gif image like i create .ani cursors because this would be more easily than search a movie, download it, mix with another one and create the .gif. But i don't know anything about RW Paint.

Anyone know about this?

You can create .gif files, but not animated ones. If you want animated .gifs, you'll have to use something else.

UPDATE: version 2011.1 supports animated GIF, so the answer is finally Yes

Ok, thank you, but it would be nice that you can create animated images on RW Paint, maybe in a new version.

Probably would be like the frame by frame method the Cursor editor uses. And you could import video clips and convert them to gif's.

I tried to get a gif animated image on it but it was a static gif image
