Format to use to work in Cursor Editor

I want to be able to work on a cursor out of a actual photo and I need to know what format or how I need to save it as to be able to make my cursor. Thank you so much!!!!

There should be no problem turning your photos into cursors - the editor can open .jpg files just fine. You'll just have to crop the right part of the photo.
