Hi. I found a way to draw a perfect oval any size by using the x and y axis method. example,(20 by 40 size oval)on the x axis 10 units and on the y axis 20 units. Use a 180 degree line with fixed centres, simultaneously following the x and y axis. At the end of the 180 degree line, 1/4 of the oval is traced on a plane surface. Continue each of the remanding quarters to complete the 20 x 40 oval. This oval making method I named "The Eye of Era". Adone 😊 😎

If you are using the ellipse tool, look in the right column. There should actually be 2 color pickers, one for outline and one for interior fill. The fill can be switched to gradient or patterns, so make sure to switch it back to solid fill if that is what you want.

I want the yellow circle around my mouse. I am already at the eclipse stage, however have selected colour yellow and it isn't showing around the mouse on left hand side of the editing column,

Well, select the ellipse tool, select the color, probably pick something semi-transparent, and draw the ellipse by dragging from left upper corner of the canvas to right lower one. You may also want to switch to the Paint under mode to have the ellipse under the existing cursor.

Right side of the window. You must have Ellipse or another tool that actually needs a color active to see the panel.

I guess I know what is your problem. You have probably opened one of the aero cursors from Windows 7 or have created a Windows 7 cursor. These actually have 2 images in them, one used for normal resolution, another one used for high resolution displays. You should modify both of them. If you only modify for example the larger one and you are using standard resolution mode in your Windows, you will not see the change. If there are multiple images in your cursor, you can switch between them in the upper left part of the windows. When I am talking about a window, I mean the window of the editor. It has only one.

I created my new cursor (a teal circle around my normal white cursor) and it works great but I'd like to edit the circle--re-size and re-position. I have the pointer and circle on separate layers with the pointer layer on top. How do I select the circle so I can change its dimensions?

the cursor editor does not support vector layers, so your best bet is to delete the layer with the circle and create a new one with a new circle

What I would like to do is use a big circle as my text select cursor. I have seen people using this in YouTube videos to kind of focus attention on the text they are referring to and things like that. Theirs are about as big around as the height of say 3 or 4 lines of text in a webpage or document or whatever. I tried making one and it is about as big around as one line width. How would I make this big circle cursor? Thanks

I made the above post, sorry I meant one line height.

You cannot make that big cursors. Some screen recording programs can add that big circle to the video, but it is not the actual cursor, it is just a video enhancement.

If you want the yellow circle "under" the cursor, switch to Paint under mode or use layers.

There are panels on the right side that allow you to configure outline and fill.

When I made the first few cursors, I got the halo. Later in the day I tried to make a new one with a different color halo. I saved as I had done before but when I open them the halo is not there. I tried again today with the same result. Is this a bug? 😞
