I used a 3D editor program called Blender. Blender can be used to make very realistic looking objects, in this case the Gems.

Basically, I used Blender to create a 3D gem shape and gave it a glassy material to be made out of. Then I rendered it (Turned it into a picture). Then I used the Realworld Image to icon tool to turn the picture of the gem into an icon.

it a sham you didn't give the jewls thre atual name but good.
i think you could a few more colours to this set.
i personally would of made brown ones.
