Basically,a sprite is a computer graphic or digital image. Sometimes they come on digital sheets of multiple images.
For those not familiar with sprites...

Thank you! I have a black set finished and am currently working on a glass set for Dec. Looking forward to seeing some of the sprite sets that may be entered!

I should apologize to u cdl: I do have a black set which I said I would enter, in Sept., but did not. Sorry! Life and work held me back. That said, the glass set I started, for Dec., is not quite finished. It takes a little time to make a decent cursor set. The diag's & hor./vert. can take longer, especially to make something creative. But keep the faith!..
